There's still time to enter Geist Postcard Story Contest. Get your entries in before February 15, 2012 for a chance at literary fame and fortune. Also, the deadline is fast approaching for the January Geist Emerging Writer of the Month. Submit your work before January 31, 2012 for a chance at publication. Of course this came in the day AFTER the CWCCs for 2012 were mailed out. The new email address for EVENT Magazine is event@douglascollege.ca Please change it in your address books. As of the end of April 2012, the old address will no longer be working after that time. (Bottom of page 29 in the 2012 CWCC)

Room Magazine's Annual Fiction, Poetry, and Creative Non-fiction Contest 2012
Calling all women writers: sharpen your pencils or fire up your laptop and send us your fiction, poetry, or creative non-fiction contest entries.Deadline: Entries must be postmarked or e-mailed no later than June 15, 2012. Entry Fee: $30 per entry (includes a complimentary one-year subscription to Room). Non-Canadian entries: $42 Canadian dollars. Prizes: 1st prize in each category $500, 2nd prize $250.
